Now we can introduce the most advanced surface technology ever. It is based on an efficient Multi Layer Build-up System that has been invented and perfected by Pergo. By focusing on the interaction between the layers, we have discovered a way to achieve a number of unique features that could not be achieved without such a combination.

TRIPLEWEAR PROTECTION

The first feature is the patented Triple Wear Protection system. It consists of multiple armed overlays, which provide the floor with incredible wear-resistance. In fact, it exceeds the norm for heavy commercial use by more than 50%. This means that Pergo floors with Triple Wear Protection are the most durable laminate floors in the world. Furthermore, these floors incorporate a new design dimension which creates a unique visual depth and a beautiful natural look.

SCRATCH RESISTANCE

Our second completely unique flooring feature is our "Scratch Resistant Surface" (SRS). As a result of our special "Crystal Clear Coating Technology", these floors retain their brilliance longer than any other laminate floors on the market.

IMPACT RESISTANCE

Furthermore, due to the unique Multi Layer Build-up System in combination with the core materials, we have been able to gain a high-impact resistance that even meets the needs for the toughest requirements. Pergo Uniq has the most advanced build-up and is therefore the most suitable for heavy commercial areas.

FRICTION CONTROL

Finally, an innovative solution to the conflict between good friction control and easy maintenance. The answer is to embed special perticles in the flooring layers. This makes it possible for superior friction control and an easy to clean surface to exist simultaneously.

ADVANCED JOINT TECHNOLOGY

With 50% more joint strength than other glue-free systems, the patented joint technology ProLoc, is the strongest on the market. It has been developed for the professional market using the revolutionary triple locking system, making the joints safer and more scure than ever before. The installation remains as fast and easy as with any other system. ProLoc is used in both Pergo Uniq and Practiq.

SMARTLOCK

For the housing segment, Pergo has adapted the Proloc concept to meet the needs for residential applications. The Pergo Domestiq range features the double-locking SmartLock system, which is a simpler version of the Proloc System.

MOISTURE PROTECTION SYSTEM (MPS)

Both the ProLoc and SmartLock joint systems feature impregnated joints for protection against moisture. The impregnated joint in combination with the high moisture resistant HDF core, used on Pergo Uniq, provides extra security for heavy commercial use.

For areas requiring added water protection as well as those areas where wet cleaning methods are used, Pergo has developed an advanced sealant - SafeSeal - that together with ProLoc, will create a water-resistant joint.

SOUND LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM

After many years of research, the engineers within the Pergo Group have developed a system for controlling the sound level of floors. This is accomplished by the installation of a special silencer called SoundBloc. The material consists of an environmentally friendly synthetic base with a high-density filler. This combination has proved to achieve the highest sound reduction.

CHOOSE YOUR OWN SOUND LEVEL

This new sound level control system has the flexibility to suit your specific needs. SoundBloc installed as a loose underlay, reduces the sound by 4dB compared to the standard underlay materials. When SoundBloc is bound to the flooring plank, it lowers the sound level by 8dB. You can even reduce sound level by a further 4dB by gluing the plank with SoundBloc directly to the subfloor. Ultimately, our sound level control system makes it possible to deduct up to 12dB of sound from the floor.

SoundBloc bound to the plank is available as a standard feature with Pergo Uniq and as a "made-to-order" with Pergo Practiq.
